Hometown: Ottawa, ON
Living in Ottawa Since: Day 1 of life, with a brief interruption for high school
Interests: Rugby, Billiards, Russian Literature, and of course, Economics.
Why Economics?: There are two types of people – people who understand economics and argue about economics and people who don’t understand economics but argue about it anyway. I prefer being the first kind.
Favourite Place on Campus: Two places – the quietest place on campus and anywhere in DMS, depending on my mood. I can’t tell you about the first though!

Living in Ottawa Since: 2007.
Interests: J’aime danser, writing, playing volleyball, watching soccer games (allez Real Madrid!!! allez Brésil!!!), laughing, spending time with family and friends.
Why Economics?: I just like it!!!

Little known fact about yourself: I was published twice, 4 years ago, and I worked with one of the best writers in Toronto. I had brunch and dinner with Micheal Jean (previous Governor General of Canada). I love to laugh, and believe that laughing is a cure for many things.

Living in Ottawa Since: 2008
Interests: Books by or about Winston Churchill, experimental cooking, travelling in countries where I have zero grasp of the language, the makeshift garden in my apartment, Paris, U2.
Why Economics?: My Dad started reading The Economist around the time my university applications were due. It was added to the list of possible careers, between wine-maker and shrink.
Favourite Place on Campus: The overpass from Arts to Simard that is lined with couches. I stumbled upon it during exams; there was someone asleep on every couch. Magical place.
